After this year’s Minnesota muzzleloader deer-hunting season wrapped up Sunday, Dec. 14, preliminary harvest for that season totaled 9,216 deer – a 7% increase over last year’s blackpowder season.
At the same time, the total harvest for all deer-hunting seasons has pushed past the 181,000 mark, more than 10,000 more than a year ago.
