There’s a certain level of discomfort, even pain, involved in deer hunting, and there’s really no way of avoiding it if you spend any serious time in pursuit of a whitetail.
You essentially have to consent to it, expect it and even embrace it. That becomes a bit harder as we age, especially when it comes to the elements. So I knew this all-day sit was going to be painful as I ascended my treestand on a snowy, chilly morning in Albany Township, Bradford County, Pa.
