Blame the COVID-19 pandemic for claiming another victim – Ohio’s steelhead trout program.
Sort of and in the process the outcome has impoverished more than a few steelhead anglers. Myself included. Finding trout to cast a swing fly to on a large river or else channeling one’s energies to securing a pod of spawning trout in a small tributary now requires one becoming a steelhead bloodhound.
