Steve Carney: Store your boat properly, avoid spring headaches

When storing his boat for winter, Carney does some of the prep work, while having professionals perform other aspects that ensure ease of getting on the water come springtime. Sadly, the open-water fishing season is over and it’s time to store our boats and accessories.
We were fortunate to have warm weather through November that kept a lot of us on the water much later than normal in Minnesota. Here are some tips to properly store your boat for the winter season as we head into December.
