Minnesota’s deer harvest surpasses state’s total from 2024; Wisconsin also ahead of last year’s pace

With a muzzleloader deer-hunting season that continues through Dec. 14, an archery season through Dec. 31, and a late “CWD season” for certain zones set for Dec. 19-21, whitetail harvest numbers will increase in Minnesota.
But as of earlier this week, the state’s hunters already had surpassed the kill from a year ago.
