Michigan turkey hunters will see big changes when the spring season opens on April 18. Most of the changes were made to simplify regulations – turning 14 management units into three – and to give hunters a better opportunity to fill their tags – expanding the length of the individual hunts.
In the past, poor weather could all but squash your opportunity to tag a gobbler.
