For bear hunting success in Pennsylvania, sometimes its best to find a watering hole

Successful bear hunting in Pennsylvania continues to be a low-odds-for-success endeavor. Despite more seasons and more hunters pursuing the bruins, the annual success rate usually runs about 2-3%.
Simply put, there is a lot of luck that goes into tagging a Pennsylvania black bear, but there are also many items you can put on a list that will aid you in becoming one of the lucky ones this fall. One of those items is water.
