Steve Carney: Better times lie ahead for pheasant hunters, and a Minnesota fall fishing update

While standing corn has stood between hunters and the pheasants they pursue, crop harvest is chugging along, and hunting will improve in the near future. The good news this week is that pheasant hunting will continue to get better as we head into early November. It’s been a bit frustrating of late, as pheasant hunters are faced with lots of standing corn in Minnesota. But that soon will change.
