While meteorologists can often not even accurately forecast the next day’s weather, some try each summer or fall to predict how severe the winter will be in the various regions of North America.
One of the most anticipated, but not necessarily reliable, long-range winter forecasts are the ones offered by the Old Farmer’s Almanac and Farmer’s Almanac.
