Will Ohio’s deer gun hunters come close to matching a near record harvest from last year?

The stars couldn’t have aligned much better for hunters during last year’s deer gun season in Ohio.
The weather for the weeklong gun hunt in late November was near perfect and for the first time the ODNR Division of Wildlife made the Deer Management Permit valid through gun season. What resulted was a near record gun season harvest.
