New York hunters now have multiple options when it comes to how they report their harvest for deer, bear and turkey. That includes reporting the kill electronically through the DEC's HuntFishNY app. (Stock photo)

As deer seasons continue to intensify across New York, especially in the Northern Zone where hunters are on the cusp of both the early muzzleloading season and firearms opener, hunters are once again deciphering changes in the way we go about things. Whether they are good, or bad, depends on whom you ask.
