Public land is generally considered the most difficult type of ground to hunt, and for good reason. The more of us who are out there trying to kill deer, the more the deer are going to do to avoid all of us.
This is why when you turn on the Outdoor Channel, you don’t see a lot of TV hosts spending time in trees on dirt that’s open to anyone. Private land isn’t immune to the pressure issue, either. Pressure is pressure, but that doesn’t mean it’s a lost cause.
