While Wisconsin has 10 state-owned campground cabins that may be rented by people with disabilities, there are no “camper cabins” available for rent by the general public in state campgrounds.
Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan each have 100 or more rustic cabins available for rent to anyone on their state park campgrounds. Were Wisconsin to build similar rental cabins, it would take action by the state legislature to approve the spending for capital improvements.
