Coming off two mild winters, the Minnesota DNR will this year increase lottery limits in some deer permits areas or harvest limits in 25 of the 130 DPAs in the state.
“The northern part of the state is still struggling, but for the most part, we’re optimistic, so that’s why we raised bag limits in a number of DPAs or kept the majority the same,” said the DNR’s acting big-game coordinator, Paul Burr.
