Picture this: I awaken in the thin blue light of dawn to a chorus of songbirds and break camp while coffee brews. After breakfast, I load my canoe and slip it back into the water for a long day of paddling. I stop along the way for lunch and occasionally cast a line to the spots that look like they might hold fish.
