The state Legislature adjourned late Monday without budget resolution, meaning an expected special session likely will be upcoming. It was yet to be announced at Outdoor News press deadline on Tuesday.
While the budget debate between Minnesota Republicans and DFLers revolves around matters beyond the outdoors and the state DNR – think education, health and human services, etc. – a DNR official said certain policy issues that would affect hunters and anglers also remain in limbo.
