Wisconsin 10-year-old finds success during his first spring turkey hunt

While Zach Swanson is only 10 years old and still has plenty of hunting opportunities in his future, his first experience will be one that he will never forget.
Swanson participated April 5 in the Waupaca learn-to-hunt turkey program, which offers new and inexperienced hunters an opportunity to participate in a turkey hunt with a mentor. The free program has been held the weekend before Wisconsin’s state youth turkey hunt for more than 20 years.
