We have heard from many people up in arms about the Glen Onoko Falls land deal between the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in Carbon County. I think Dave Gustafson, the commission’s deputy executive director, did an admirable job of trying to defuse hunter anger in our story.
But the proposed transaction – to transfer or exchange 391 acres from the State Game Lands System smells bad to me. Why the lack of transparency?
