Illinois Farm Bureau offers more insight into 2025 deer legislation

The Illinois deer herd remains a hot topic among lawmakers during the current legislative session. Senate Bill 2160, which would encourage hunters to pursue more antlerless deer during regular hunting seasons and expand venison donations to Illinois food banks, is one of a dozen deer-related measures alive in Springfield.
