Steve Carney: Stow away ice-fishing gear the right way

With our days on the ice rapidly dwindling, it’s time to properly prepare our gear for storage. Precautions taken now can make the beginning of next ice-fishing season more enjoyable. (Photo courtesy of Steve Carney)

As the ice-fishing season winds down, I’m gladly putting my gear in storage and also properly servicing the items for extended storage.
Here are some thoughts on proper off-season care of your ice-fishing gear.
