Our venerable system of natural resources management – the North American Model of Wildlife Management – involves a unique approach of county, state, and federal organizations working together, and often with local conservation groups.
Some of that work has been interrupted by a swiftly changing landscape at the federal level brought about by seemingly daily changes made by President Donald Trump and his team. Court reversals of those changes further blur the scene, but put some people back to work – at least for the time being.
