A bill amendment aims to make an exception to a current law that prevents the importation of cervidae into Minnesota from a state with a positive CWD test in the past five years.
H.F. 434 would open the door to allow zoos in Minnesota, accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association and other USDA-licensed facilities, to import cervidae from verified zoos in other states.
