New law allowing .410s for Illinois turkey hunters will debut this spring season

Luke Garver has fielded many suggestions from turkey hunters since taking his current job in October 2016.
Some good, some not. But come April, when the Illinois spring turkey hunting season opens, one of the suggestions will become reality: a new option for the type of shotgun used to harvest gobblers around the state.
