Ohio’s legion of ice anglers had about a 10-day window of good ice fishing this year.
However, at press time for this edition of Ohio Outdoor News in late January, things were changing quickly. A big warm up in temperatures had the remaining ice-fishing possibilities a big gamble at best. Temperatures were predicted well into the 40s for much of the extended forecast. While it lasted, though, the ice fishing in mid-January was pretty good.
