Our world seems to be dominated by tribalism. This is most evident in our political leanings, but there is another category in which we tend to choose a side and then stay put: dog breeds. Anyone who has ever owned a dog probably understands why.
Dogs worm their way into our hearts in a way that is hard to understand, and they quickly become more than a sidekick for afternoon walks around the block or fall strolls through the grassland and woodlands. They become family.
