Glenn Sapir: You never know whom you might meet when you are a hunter and a fisherman

As the year approaches its end, it is a good time to take pause and be thankful for all whom we have enjoyed not only during these past 12 months, but also during the many years of our lives.
For me, it is family and friends, of course, with whom I am most intimate. I remember former colleagues and am thankful for congregants at my house of worship with whom I share a special meaning of the word “community.” Folks who have accompanied, perhaps even guided, me afield hold a special place in my heart.
