Steve Sarley: Holiday angler or hunter, be thankful for the outdoors

Unless you are auditioning to be an Ebeneezer Scrooge imitator in a new local production of “A Christmas Carol,” you have to love the holidays. The only challenge is trying to figure out which is your favorite.
My son-in-law actually has the entire week of white-tailed deer season in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan off from work as a holiday week. Wild, isn’t it? Most people celebrate the more traditional holidays.
