“It’s one of the old canal lakes, so it’s fairly shallow and narrow,” he said. “There’s a lot of good structure in the lake. And, there’s a decent spillway fishery below the dam. There’s a lot of lotus and lily pad beds in the lake, so if you’re a bass fisherman those are good places to try.
