The Ohio DNR disputes stories that circulated on social media and broadcast news regarding flooding at Lake White during rains associated with Hurricane Helene.
Those rumors and stories alleged the lake’s dam and flood gates did not operate properly, leading to severe flash-flooding at the north end. The dam is at the 337-acre lake’s south end.
