Work to allow foliage viewing at Pennsylvania’s Kinzua Bridge State Park

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources recently announced the contractor and its schedule for the multi-year project to maintain the Skywalk at Kinzua Bridge State Park in McKean County, Pa.
The contract for the project has been awarded to Advantage Steel, of Saxonburg, Pa. Advantage Steel began half-day inspections Sept. 16. The closures will occur on weekdays and may continue through October.

North Carolina shooter takes home title in CMP Glock match in Ohio

Jonathan Shue, 43, of Liberty, N.C., managed to claim an overall win in the 2024 GSSF GLOCK National Challenge Stock category, though not by much, at the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s National Matches.
The 2024 GSSF GLOCK National Challenge included four categories, based on the type of pistol: Stock, Unlimited, Rimfire and MOS (Modular Optic System). The event was open to adults and juniors of any skill level. The event drew more than 200 entries throughout the July 20 day.
