Hunters of all ages across Illinois have something in common: at one time or another, they each went through a Hunter Safety Course.
Those courses would be impossible without a dedicated crew of volunteers who give up their time to teach the basics of hunting and enjoying the state’s outdoors in a safe manner. Other outdoor education programs – trapping, boating, and snowmobiling, for example – also depend on volunteers.
