The Olympic shooter from Turkey displayed shooting skill at its finest. Earning a silver medal, it was all him – no leather shooting jacket, eye blind, nor any of the popular trappings deemed necessary by some of the other shooting competitors.
The most accurate pistols money could buy were likely there. I picture him grabbing his garden gun from the garage, because he knew it well. The Olympics displayed how easy it is to miss your mark. Having all the right stuff was not enough.
