Still in search of trout in late summer? Here are some tactics

If you spend time out West talking to trout fishermen, you’ll notice a few things. The first is that they are all fly fishers, and if they aren’t, they’ll never admit it.
The second is that there is no off-season. They’ll be as excited for the streamer fish as they are for the late-summer hopper bite. It’s a different world here in the Midwest.
