I’ve been pretty hard to get ahold of (or even find) in the past month. I’m sure by now my better half probably thinks I’m avoiding her, but I’ve been aloof for an honest reason. Simply put, I’ve been out in the field here, there, and everywhere across the state, wandering through native prairies, with an occasional detour into the woods.
Before getting into it, I think we need to redefine what we’re talking about here. Growing up, I remember always hearing the terms “prairie,” “prairie region of Minnesota,” and “prairie pothole region.”
