The Ohio DNR plans to spend more than $17 million over the next two years to make Lake Erie’s Bass Islands more of a destination for both in-state and out-of-state visitors.
Agency Director Mary Mertz provided a brief summary of planned upgrades and investments during the annual Governor’s Fish Ohio Day in June. More recently, she noted how the projects will provide a unique experience for those visiting the Bass Islands.
