The Natural Resources Board (NRB) accepted the donation of 88 acres in Langlade County and approved land exchanges for property in Sauk and Green Lake counties at its June 26 meeting.
The donation of 88 acres, valued at $312,100, came from the estate of the late Rose Wheeler that includes 48 contiguous acres and 40 non-contiguous acres about 20 miles northeast of Antigo. The 48 acres are within the boundary of the Upper Wolf River Fishery Area.
