Tornado hits Wisconsin pheasant supplier’s facilities

It might be a pheasant hunter’s dream to be in the middle of thousands of loose pheasants, but that’s not what Bill MacFarlane wanted.
MacFarlane, owner and president of MacFarlane Pheasants, Inc. in Janesville, Wis., incurred Mother Nature’s wrath June 22 when an EF2 tornado ripped through the area, tearing the roof off brooder barns and destroying outdoor pheasant pens on the farm.
