The weather roller coaster continues, and it’s almost mind-bending to take a look back through data and actually see how drastic the swings have been.
Last year, following a record-breaking snowpack and insane winter in Minnesota, it sure seemed like the drought pattern in my area was over. No sooner did that thought cross my mind that the faucet shut off … for the entire summer. After May 3, the last decent rain of spring 2023, it would take until the end of June to cumulatively see another inch of precipitation.
