Might duck hunters see a bigger bag limit for northern pintails as soon as 2025-26 season?

Duck hunters could see a bigger bag limit for northern pintails as soon as the 2025-26 season, if U.S. Fish and Wildlife population census numbers for the duck match set goals.
Regulations for the 2024-25 season are already set: The daily bag limit is one pintail daily in all four flyways. And it could stick there for awhile. A tease to potential bag limit bumps was offered May 23, when Delta Waterfowl suggested one – or all – flyway zones could see the pintail limit set at three ducks for the 2025-26 season.
