Minnesota’s Pro Fishing Tip of the Week: Be ready for early-season walleye fishing

Every angler should have Lake Mille Lacs on their fishing list, despite the catch-and-release regulations. This year, with the mild winter, we expect fishing opener to be different than previous ones. The water will be warmer, so to see the most success, I’d use a slip bobber and a leech while using forward-facing sonar.
