A ribbon-cutting will be held this summer for a wildlife-viewing platform now open to the public on Haldeman Island on the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission project, which was completed last year on the southern edge of a 360-acre waterfowl propagation area, provides birders, photographers, and other visitors with new opportunities to watch waterfowl and marsh and shore birds.
