I can tell the past few years have given me some rough off-seasons, because I’ve felt like a recently beheaded chicken scrambling all over the place trying to fit in as much work as humanly possible during this record-warm winter.
Despite the calendar telling us it’s only March, it’s felt like the sands of time are fading fast and that my window for accomplishing habitat projects and deer-season prep is in imminent danger of closing.
