Senators say Pennsylvania Game Commission owns enough game lands

Pennsylvania Sen. Cris Dush, R-Cameron, pictured here, said there needs to be deeper discussions about land acquisitions by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. 

After Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Bryan Burhans gave his annual report to the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee Feb. 8, senators wanted to talk about his agency’s land acquisition.
Sen. Scott Hutcinson, R- Butler, Clarion, Erie, Forest, Venango and Warren counties, asked Burhans whether the Game Commission had an upper limit on the amount of game lands acres it acquires and owns.
