When you open the door to Jon Schneider’s long-past days as a young waterfowler, it’s obvious he’s a man who takes pleasure in the details.
A native of Orchard Park, N.Y., Schneider, 57, and his father hunted a lot when he was a kid, especially for diving ducks near Long Point, Ontario, where they’d escape to hunt after Thanksgiving dinner.
“After dinner at my uncle’s house, we’d say thank you and gracefully depart after the dishes were done,” said Schneider, chuckling.
