Retailers, bait dealers and anglers alike lament warmth’s return to Minnesota

Jeff Byrne has heard it all. Byrne, the longtime owner of Cabin Fever Sporting Goods in Victoria, Minn., in the southwest metro area, sells bait and fishing tackle, as well as other outdoor gear, including archery equipment. Propane, too.
“I had ice-fishing customers come in (last) weekend who told me they were making tee times for later this coming week,” he said on Monday afternoon.
