Suspect from Illinois guilty of poaching three bucks in Ohio’s Adams County

An Illinois man was found guilty recently of poaching three antlered deer in Adams County during the 2023 deer gun season, according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife.
The suspect, Terry McCully, was convicted recently in Adams County.

Michigan legislation would allow schools to add firearms safety classes to curriculum

A bipartisan group of Michigan lawmakers want to allow schools to host firearm safety courses as a means to boost hunter participation and raise awareness about properly handling firearms. 
House Bill 5334 and its companion in the upper chamber, Senate Bill 664, would amend the Revised School Code to allow schools the option of offering firearm safety instruction for students in grades six through 12.

My quest for an Osceola gobbler actually came about unexpectedly.

A few years back, when my wife decided she wanted to purchase a home in Florida so she could be near her mother wintering there, I was not keen on the snowbird idea.
