High school bass anglers in Illinois will get regional round next spring

Dramatic expansion of the Illinois high school bass fishing championship series will have to wait until next spring.
The plan is to add a round of fishing to the series, which launched in 2009 and has become a model for other states implementing competitive angling among students.
