Commentary: Delta Waterfowl initiative aims to work with farmers to keep at-risk wetlands producing ducks in Canada

The Canadian prairie continues to lose its allure to breeding ducks. But Delta Waterfowl is working to expand the organization’s habitat conservation programs that provide farmers with annual incentive payments to retain the region’s critical shallow wetlands where ducks can breed, nest, and thrive.
