The Hayward DNR fisheries team ran a quick spring electrofishing survey along four miles of Windigo Lake shoreline on June 6, 2021, to take a look at largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegills. The team also ran three days worth of a fyke-netting survey May 9-11, 2022, to take a look at northern pike, walleyes and black crappies. Eight fyke (trap) nets were set for two nights.
