With the Pennsylvania Game Commission enacting more restrictive rules governing the autumn turkey hunting season in an effort to reduce the number of birds taken during the fall, turkey hunters have to make the most of the time they have to hunt. Â
Some wildlife management units have seen their fall season reduced to two weeks – or just one. It is pretty much shotguns and bows only, too. To be successful with these new policies in force, a hunter has to do several things to maximize his chances for success.
